I believe that citizens are over taxed, when you look at the figures it is generally the mid to low income families that smoke or drink. We should not be raising these taxes to pay for unnecessary spending and placing more burdens on these families. Our gasoline and property taxes are substantially high. We need to look at areas in the budget to rework funding and cut taxes all around. By lowering the Corporate taxes we will draw more business to Florida which means more jobs.

I believe the citizens should vote on every bill of legislation that has to do with spending their tax dollars, the Government belongs to the Citizens, they should have the power and say where their money is spent.

I will work to secure Florida's borders, losing 3.8 billion dollars a year to illegal immigration is a travesty to the hard working, tax paying citizens of this state. We need to introduce legislation that will protect our open lands for use by the public, I will support any and all legislation to secure our lands for our future generations. I will work to restore the retirement and pension cuts to our state employees that were taken from them, especially our emergency services personnel. I will be the Citizens voice!
